Women make up 50.5% of the US population - a majority yet our rights are on the line and at a crossroads. This is unacceptable in this modern era where hard fought rights and services have been established that strengthen us and our families.

Equal access to healthcare and reproductive care, childcare support, financial strength and maintaining the right to vote - all are currently at risk in the US due to the Project 2025 blueprint for the definition of a woman's role and marital status, and of the projected cuts to Medicaid and SNAP.

We can stand strong together to fight for our inalienable rights as women. Please join us by subscribing our newsletter, attending events or donating.

Women's rights are an essential part of the overall human rights agenda, trained on the equal dignity and ability to live in freedom all people should enjoy.

US Representative Brittany Pettersen from Colorado addressed Congress hearing during a budget vote on Feb. 26th that passed. This disastrous bill included tax cuts on important social welfare programs including food stamps and Medicaid.

"They want to rip away health care from 400,000 Colorado kids, take food off the plates of seniors & veterans, and make life more expensive for hardworking Coloradans - all so they can give tax breaks to corporations and billionaires." Thank you Rep. Pettersen for speaking out.

Contraceptives are at risk

On February 5th U.S. Senators Mazie K. Hirono (D-HI), Ed Markey (D-MA), and Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) reintroduced the Right to Contraception Act, legislation that would create a statutory right to obtain and use contraceptives and ensure health care providers have a right to provide contraceptives, and share information about this essential care.

“Contraception is essential health care that millions of people across the country rely on,” said Senator Hirono. “The Right to Contraception Act protects patients’ right to access contraception, as well as providers’ right to provide it. I’m proud to join Senator Markey and Representative Fletcher in reintroducing this important bill. The right to control your own body, free from government interference, is as fundamental as it gets, and we’ll continue doing everything we can to protect the reproductive rights of all Americans.”
